I know that it's almost time for us to elect another Republican Commander, but before we do that I'd like to propose that the time of service for an RC be extended from two weeks to at least 3 (or, if everyone is willing, to 4).

The idea that Haunted Steel came up with when he founded [HE] is a solid one, change the leadership frequently and fairly to enable things to stay vibrant and organic. It seems like there is a slight flaw though in the amount of time that RC serves, and that is by the time the new RC has re-arranged things and re-organized, as well as re-issuing orders for the Officers and familiarizing everyine again, most of their two weeks is up.

I think that extending the time by at least a week will still allow us to avoid becoming stagnant while enabling us to be more effective as an Order since it may help cut down on a lot of confusion that seems inevitable at the changing of the guard.

That's just my thought and I'm curious what everyone thinks about it? I know that we are still a very green Order as we haven't even been around for a month yet, but I think if we address any possible issues now before they spiral out of control (not that this will) we'll be all the better for it in the long run.
